  3. Whippets can be very addictive, they are great pets but do have an abundance of energy. Mabel is cute.

  4. Miss Mabel is a heart-stealer - I am in love with her pink pads! I can see that she has mischief in her soul and I'll bet she is as fast as the wind! I have a three month old pug (Tula) and she keeps me VERY busy!!!

  5. Mabel is delightful. May I say that you are extremely generous letting Mabel sleep on vintage Laura Ashley. x

  7. So cute! I can understand that you are exhausted. We have a twelve week old Sheltie puppy and he is one busy boy. Not much sewing in the last four weeks! Enjoy Miss Mabel!

  9. The cutest whippet I ever saw, Mabel has wonderful eyes and the best place in the house to sleep on, a quilt with Laura Ashley fabrics. I understand she is exhausting you, young pups have lots of energy and whippets are rapid. I remember when Snarf our border collie was young, the energy he had and still has, and all the naughty things he did.........but sure dogs are the best companions you can have. Wish you lots of fun with Mabel.

  21. Oh Jooles she is perfect! We've been looking for a furry friend since we lost Jessie in the Spring and a whippet is our top choice st the moment - and if anything was going to persuade us that we're looking in the right direction it's those lovely pics. Hello Miss Mabel x

  24. Unbelievably cute and I'm so jealous! We'd love to have a dog, but as we both work it just wouldn't be fair to have one right now. Just have to settle with 3 meddling (and wool chewing) cats. Have a fabulous, albeit very exhausting (!) time, with your new arrival x
