Bedside Posy :: April ..... A Round Up Too

Hello

Well here is my bedside posy for April
It's so SO Pretty
I love all the blues and purples in the garden at the moment
it is, perhaps, even my favourite.

It's my last one ..... can you believe it?
I started my challenge last May
I have actually filled a year with bedside posies
I've loved it too
Very. Much. Indeed.
In fact I'll be continuing
but without the constraints of one each month
I'm sure there will be more of them popping up here on my blog from time to time.

Lots of pretty things in this one ~

Forget~me~not
Navelwort
Violet
Grape Hyacinth
Periwinkle

In case you were wondering
Navelwort (Omphalodes Cappadocica) is the beautiful blue flower
next to the Forget~me~not in the photo above
It's so very pretty and one of my favourite flowers
there are more photos of it here

And in celebration of each and every posy
please allow me to present .....

My Year in Bedside Posies

You can find my all of previous bedside posies below
March

Thanks for popping by
I'll be back soon
with some crafty business!

BIG love

  1. Your poses are stunning. I have to agree this is beautiful. Are all these flowers in your garden? I drop in now and again and have a catch up. Love the things you made for Bees birthday. Such a great thing to pass on to your child (the skill of sewing) and the gifts as well.

  4. What a fantastic way to end a year of bedside posies. I do so enjoy your posy posts. I especially love the beautiful little forget-me-nots - those gorgeous little yellow centres against that blue - heaven. xx

  5. My forget-me-nots have just started blooming in Illinois. It's still quite chilly here most days. I just learned about a new flower from you, navelwort. Thank you. I don't remember ever seeing them in any nurseries or garden centers here in the US.
Since I just found your blog a couple of weeks ago, I missed all of your beautiful bedside posies. For many years I've enjoyed putting together small posies in tiny vases too. I guess you could call mine kitchen counter posies because that seems to be where I keep them. :)
BTW, your blog and photos are very inspiring.
    Have a beautiful spring day!

  6. Gorgeous posy, I love forget me nots so much and they look so pretty with the other blue and purple flowers. Your posies have been very pretty over the past year, and seeing them all together like that I think they would make such a pretty floral calendar :)
Wishing you a wonderful week, dear Jooles!

  7. What a pretty way to document the passing months - according to the flowers available at that time. No flowers in my bedroom, but I do keep the vase on my countertop full all the time - usually with store-bought blooms, but soon my garden will provide the colour in my kitchen! I almost have some daffodils blooming in my front patch!

  8. What a beautiful bouquet to end the year of bouquets with!! They might have been small, but they are still bouquets I think! It has been wonderful seeing them each month all year long and it is lovely to see them all grouped together now! I hope that you have lots of flowers in the future! xx

  9. A real April posy with lovely springflowers. I enjoyed this series very much, so nice you showed them all on last picture. It's a shame it stops now, but I'm sure we'll see more posies from you in the future, may be kitchen- or attic- posies, I love it all.

  10. Gosh a year goes by so quickly doesn't it? I've really enjoyed your bedside posies Jooles, I hope they will still feature from time to time. Forget-me-nots are all over my garden at the moment and I love them and I love your little purple periwinkle, I will see if I can seek one out in the garden centre. Enjoy the rest of your week.
