Isn’t time flying?

I just wanted to pop in quickly to show you something wonderful

I entered a giveaway over at Chippernelly

 home of the fabulous Fee

and guess what?

I was one of the VERY lucky winners! 

 and just look what she made for me

 

 

 Ahhhhhhhhh .....

So beautiful

they even came wrapped with gingham ribbon and jingle bells!

It was a 'carry it forward' giveaway

so I will be having a big think 

about what my giveaway will be in the new year

 We now have our Christmas decorations up

it was so nice to unwrap these little guys

Sweet B and I made them last year

BTW ..... she is home ..... it's so wonderful

while I am sitting here typing she is sitting on the floor

cutting out snowflakes for a special decoration

(they may even feature in a guest post ;o)

we have 'Elf' on TV

and all feels good with the world

 I have finished my last Christmas gift

Hooooray

a personalised bunting for my great niece

(sorry the photos are a bit rubbish)

It's a really nice feeling to be getting that long list ticked off

I have some foodie gifts still to make

which I am really excited about

in my pantry there is a mountain of chocolate ready and waiting

happiness is.....

..... sweet B home for the holidays

..... a cute little sewing companion, snuffling up my pins
 from a beautiful and very kind lady

 

..... the tapestries that took me years to make
f.i.n.a.l.l.y made into the most beautiful of stockings for my lovelies
the kits were from here

..... the anticipation of putting the decorations up tomorrow

..... pretty lights outside

I'm in love with our new toadstool

..... the present list being ticked off
pattern from this lovely book

..... my indoor bulbs doing their exciting thing

..... pretty Christmas cards being made

..... lots of baking and making ahead



Not everything has been running smoothly round these parts
lots of lemons have been thrown our way of late
that's for sure
but I am choosing to accentuate the positive .....

Hello ..... Percy Pecker here .....

..... How do you do fair maidens?
 It's very nice to meet you indeed

I have just flown in to announce the news 
that Mrs Pecker and I
have raised a brood of bonny Christmas babies
who all need cosy new homes for Christmas
our nest is overflowing you see
and Mrs P and I need to have a rest and put our feet up
for a while at least

They have been fluttering into Jooles's shop 


Mrs P has made sure that they are all looking dapper
in their Sunday best
she has even made them little
holly sprig and jingle bell posies
the boys weren't keen but she put her foot down

Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm off for a nutty snack
that's if that pesky bushy tail hasn't got there first
what's his game???

Exciting news ~
Mrs P and I shall be adding a few
festive twinkles and sparkles to our nest this weekend
just hope that that north wind doesn't blow too hard

new curtains for my sewing room ..... finally

they have been laying, unfinished and ignored for weeks months
I have been putting them off
but, actually, they really weren’t that bad
and I totally adore the Vanessa Arbuthnott fabric
such pretty colours

she is more than I even dreamed of

I feel like a very lucky girl indeed
