happiness is.....



   ...... Christmas Birdies









A big nest full of little Christmas birds
are flying into my shop this weekend
Miss & Master Peckers (of course)
will be joined by their sweet neighbours
Miss & Master Winterbirds
each is dressed in their Sunday best Tilda outfits
complete with a little holly and jingle bell corsage
they are all looking for cosy new homes

poor hands, they have only just recovered from the last session

    These little guys/gals are just SO cute! How on top of things you are!

    I wish you all the best on the bulb planting- hope not only your hands survive, but your back as well!
    However . . . your daffodil orchard idea sounds like it will be well worth it- what a joy to look forward to this spring! :)

My Dad always says that if a job is worth doing its worth 'blood and blisters' (usually this comment is aimed at me when I am compaining my hands are sore from painting or some other household tasks) Hope the weather is up to planting tomorrow. They would have washed out of the ground here today. Lily. xxx
