a cosy autumn weekend

Hello
Thanks for stopping by
It's always lovely to welcome you here

We had a wonderful weekend with Sweet B home
sadly it just went by far to quickly

We had a lovely shopping trip with lots of chattering
~ so much to catch up on you know

A gorgeous autumny walk in the countryside
~ it turned out to be a VERY LONG walk in the end as we got lost

A lot of cosy comforting food was consumed
the sticky pineapple pudding with coconut custard was d.i.v.i.n.e
as was the Millionaire's shortbread

I think this has to be one of my all-time faves
so gooey and satisfying
the recipe was from here
Marry Berry NEVER lets us down, does she?

There was also a LOT of a certain lovely ladies laundry to do
apparently mum does it better
;o)
of course.

Can't seem to get my 'To-Do' list under control at all this week
it may help if I hide the computer from myself!

My beautiful forest friends have been back this morning
they have started on the hedges now
I love to see them
so pretty.

thank you so much for all of your lovely comments on my last post
you're FAB
x

I'm off to make advent calendars now

Have a great week
BIG love

By the way, I bought the Mollie Makes Christmas book recently and was very excited to see you, my bloggy friend, featured in a couple of places. How exciting! You totally deserve it. xx

  22. I always think you know they've really grown up when they stop bringing you their washing!

Glad you had a great weekend. I bet that scrummy looking Millionaire's Shortbread helped! But of course the biggest plus will have been the presence of Sweet B :)
