Life is stressful here at the moment
my big brother is very poorly
he had major surgery on Monday and is now out of intensive care
and on a high dependency ward
he is in terrible pain and they are struggling to get it under control
I feel so anxious for him, we all do
my poor mum and his two beautiful children especially

He is a brave and strong man with a gigantic heart
he's been through such a lot in his life
he was a royal marine
the things he saw and did changed him...forever
and put him where he is today
it breaks my heart
I hope with every part of my being that he will get better
properly better
and have happy times again

  4. Oh bless you, it is so difficult when a family member is so poorly and there's so little we can do but wait.... I hope for your brother that today (right now) would Mark a turn around in his situation, he would come into the care of the right nurses and doctors who can fix his situation with no confusion or delay and that by the end of today he would be on the road to bein put right. For you, I hope that you find some comfort in the small things around you to keep you on top of everything and able to deal with all that you have to do. Take care.

  10. Sorry to read that your dear brother is suffering, I can understand just how powerless you feel. Take heart, he's in the right place, the doctors and nurses are fighting to help him to get him back to good health. Hope he feels much better very soon.
