A feast for the eyes

Over the weekend Pete and I visited Sarah Raven's garden
it is a couple of hours drive from here but so worth it
It was absolutely beautiful
take a look...

 What do you think??
We came home with so many ideas
oh, if only we lived in her farm house with views of rolling hills all around!
they serve drinks and homemade cakes too
I had homemade rhubarb cordial and apple and cinnamon cake
Mmmmmmmmm!

I think I may be getting a little obsessed....
I have made a lemon and poppy seed cake this afternoon
 from this book!

Oh well, there are worse obsessions i guess!

more soon

  17. thank you all so much for all of your lovely comments x
The cake stand was actually from Ikea a couple of years ago. I am sure that they will still make something similar, it is so useful as well as pretty
